Nocturna Horror Park

project overview
Nocturna is my graphic design thesis project and a complete brand identity for a horror amusement park built around the world of vampires and fear. The project explores how branding, storytelling, environmental graphics, packaging, and visual communication can come together to create an immersive experience that begins before visitors even enter the park. Inspired by modern horror and the unsettling aesthetics of vampire mythology, I developed Nocturna as a year-round destination designed to feel dark, mysterious, and intense without relying on traditional gothic clichés. The identity combines a high-contrast black, white, and blood-red palette with bold typography, distressed textures, cinematic imagery, iconography, and a distinctive coffin-inspired symbol. As part of the thesis, I developed the brand system across multiple touchpoints, including the logo and visual identity, typography, signage and wayfinding, park map, tickets, invitations, merchandise, packaging, promotional materials, and digital applications. Each element was designed to reinforce the same narrative and make the visitor feel like they are entering a world where fear lives at every corner. Nocturna allowed me to explore branding beyond a traditional visual identity, focusing on how design can build an entire experience around a concept and translate a fictional brand into a cohesive, recognizable, and immersive amusement park.
